Police response after ‘loud bang on door’ in Hurstpierpoint

Police were alerted to Hurstpierpoint on Monday night (July 13), following a report of a ‘loud bang on a door’.

The householder in Willow Way reported hearing the bang at 8pm and discovered a crack in the window, Sussex Police said.

A spokesman for the force said: “A window in a door in Willow Way, Hurstpierpoint, was cracked by an unknown object on Monday evening (July 13).

“A group of children had been seen in the area prior to the incident.
