Police seek bar manager over alleged sexual assaults in Horsham pub

Police in Horsham are searching for a former bar manager they want to interview about two alleged sexual assaults in a local pub.

Police say the suspect was a bar manager in the Horsham area at the end of 2013 when he allegedly carried out the sexual assaults on two women who were members of staff.

He has since left the pub where the assaults are alleged to have taken place and his whereabouts are unknown.

His full identity has not yet been confirmed, say police, but he uses the names of Sukii Khan, Shafique Miah and Shafiqul Islam and is believed to be about 40 years old.

He is described as Bangladeshi, 5’6” to 5’8”, with short dark hair, clean shaven and of medium build.

Police believe he may be working in fast food outlets in the Horsham area.

PC Dick Hemmings said; “Extensive police enquiries have been carried out but so far we have not identified him or traced him.
