Police have stepped up patrols in villages around Horsham following reports of a rise in anti social behaviour during lockdown.

Officers and community support officers were in Lintot Square, Southwater, twice last week. Residents have reported several incidents of youngsters causing damage and intimidating shoppers there.

Officers were also in Storrington on Thursday following concerns from residents about crime in the village.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “If you would like to be contacted by your local PCSO to discuss any concerns you have, please email them on [email protected]

“Please note, this email address is not for reporting crime. Please report crime online or call 101, or if it’s an emergency please call us on 999.”
