Police want to speak to the man pictured following a serious assault in Eastbourne.

Officers said at around 3am on March 15 two men were seen attacking a lone man in the middle of Pevensey Road, near to Embassy nightclub.

Police said another man intervened and was then punched in the face. He suffered a broken nose and a fractured eye socket.

Officers said they believe the man pictured could help them with their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him, or who may have any other information about the assault, is asked to contact police online or call 101 quoting serial 1357 of 20/03.
