Robbery at Amberley Museum

THIEVES snatched several thousand pounds from Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre after attacking an employee and forcing him to open a safe yesterday evening (Sunday October 9).

Two men assaulted the 43-year-old as he made his way through the site at Houghton Bridge, Arundel, around 9.30pm.

The criminals then instructed him to open the restaurant safe from which they stole a large amount of money.
