Six arrests for shoplifting made in one day in Chichester

Six people were arrested for shoplifting in the city centre yesterday, Chichester police have said.

In a warning to potential criminals, Chichester Police posted on its Facebook page: “Thinking of coming to Chichester to shoplift? Think again.

“Six people were arrested yesterday (Thursday, December 15) for shoplifting in the city centre.

“Three people were charged, two were bailed and one recieved a community resolution.”
