Spate of Billingshurst burglaries

FIVE HOMES in Billingshurst have been burgled in one night.

Thieves raided homes two homes in Lower Church Road, one in Berrall Way, one in Kenilworth Place and one in Barrow Close overnight between Sunday 8 and Monday January 9.

Jewellery, cash and electrical items are amongst the stolen goods.

Police are now appealing for information.

Detective Constable Andy Hobden said: “We understand that these burglaries may cause some concern to residents in Billingshurst, however we are working to trace the offender or offenders and have increased patrols in the area.

“I would ask residents to make sure that their homes are secure when they go out or at night and to report anything suspicious to police.
