Police have arrested a man in St Leonards on suspicion of a malicious communications offence.

Two police cars and a police van were seen outside an address in Upper Church Road, St Leonards, at 8am on Thursday morning (November 26).

A police spokesman said a man was arrested at the property on suspicion of malicious communications.

The police spokesman added: "A Section 32 search of the property is subsequently being carried out, and this is ongoing.

"We have no further information at this stage."
