Teenagers arrested after fight breaks out at Station

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fight broke out at the front of Rye railway station, Station Approach, Rye.

Rye police received several calls relating to a large group of people fighting on Monday 4 March at 5pm.

A man aged 23 and two boys, both aged 16, have been arrested for public order and affray in relation to this disturbance and all three are currently on bail until 26 April, while police continue with their enquiries.

PC Paul Fielder, of Rye Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I’d like to urge any witnesses to this incident to contact me on the non emergency number 101 quoting serial 1207 of 04/3. Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
