Thefts from homes and outbuildings

A number of homes and outbuildings in the Horsham district have been targeted by thieves in the past couple of weeks.

Sussex Police say that while the victims were on holiday (between October 7 - 27) a kitchen window in West Chiltington was forced.

An untidy search was made and jewellery stolen.

Overnight on October 21/22 thieves forced their way into a building in Summerfold, Rudgwick, stealing two petrol generators.

The same night in West End Lane, Henfield, the locks on a house being renovated were removed and tools and scrap metal stolen.

A couple of sheds in Faygate were broken into.

A lawn mower was taken in the first incident (between October 23-26) and in the second (October 26) the padlock was broken but nothing stolen.

Finally, on Thursday October 27 in Ifield there was a break-in to a house being renovated.

Rolls of cable were stolen.
