Worthing crime figures: Here are the statistics for your area in 2020

The pandemic put a stop to many aspects of our daily lives in 2020, but crime in Worthing continued nonetheless.

Over the course of the year there were 11,207 crimes reported in our town, according to Sussex Police.

With people confined to their homes more than usual, it should come as no surprise that crimes such as burglary and shoplifting fell significantly.

But the pandemic has seen a surge in other crimes, particularly those that can be perpetrated online, such as fraud and stalking/harassment.

Here we reveal how many crimes were reported in each constituency in Worthing between January and December, 2020.

1. Clapham and Findon

There were 128 crimes reported in Clapham and Findon in 2020
