Around £1,000 cash was stolen from Paninos in Horsham’s Carfax and around £190 cash was stolen from Benches & Beans in Middle Street.

Police say that both break-ins happened overnight on October 27-28.

A spokesman said: “Police have been making enquiries but there have been no arrests.

“Anyone with information can contact the police online at https://www.sussex.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/ or by calling 101, quoting serial 0122 (Paninos) or 1047 (Benches & Beans) of 28/10.

Meanwhile, Paninos posted a thank-you message on social media to other town centre businesses, and customers, that had rallied to help after the burglaries.
