Thieves target Horsham district sheds and garages - here are the latest incidents

There has been an increase in thefts from sheds and garages in the Horsham district in the past week.

Police are advising the public to make sure these properties are secure.

The latest reported incidents are:

- Horsham Road, Handcross, between 8.30am and 5.20pm on September 6.

An insecure garage was entered and power tools were stolen.

- Five Oaks Road, Slinfold, at some time on September 5.

A pedal cycle was stolen after someone removed the padlock from a shed.

- Sandygate Lane, Lower Beeding, between 9am and 5pm on September 6.

A barn was broken into, pedal cycles, power tools and a bluetooth speaker were stolen.

- Wheatsheaf Road, Henfield, between 9.45am and 10.55am on September 8.

Locks on two sheds were broken and garden equipment were stolen.

- Five Oaks Road, Slinfold, date and time unknown.

Garden equipment including strimmers, chainsaw and a sander were stolen from a garage.

- Nuthurst Road, Maplehurst, between 2.40pm and 4.40pm on September 9.

A padlock was broken off a garage and a petrol strimmer was stolen.

- West Chiltington Lane, Coneyhurst, date and time unknown.

Padlocks broken off a garden shed. Strimmer, hedge cutter and lawn mower were all stolen.

- Billingshurst Road, Coolham, between 8.10am and 6.30pm on September 7.

Garden equipment and power tools stolen from a garage after door was forced open.
