Thirteen people are being held in Eastbourne Police’s custody block for offences including threats to kill and possession of an offensive weapon, according to officers.

Police said other offences included assault, dangerous driving and being drunk and disorderly.

A Sussex Police spokesperson added, “It was a busy shift for officers working overnight [Saturday, June 25-Sunday, June 26] across the district.
