This is how many arrests have been made in Hastings and Bexhill this week

This morning (September 21), Hastings Police and Rother Police tweeted their weekly round-ups of arrests in the area.

In Hastings and St Leonards, 40 arrests were made by police in the last seven days.

The offences included affray, criminal damage, assault, drink driving, supply of class A drugs, and stalking.

In Rother officers made 19 arrests across Bexhill and the rest of the district.

Offences included grievous bodily harm, burglary, drug production, assault, drink driving, criminal damage and harassment.

In the tweets, both forces said: "Continue to be our eyes and ears to help keep our community safe."
