Three arrested after police attend Bexhill flat

Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of suspected drug dealing after drugs and several thousand pounds in cash were found in a Bexhill flat.

On Sunday, April 12 officers went to the flat in Linden Road, Bexhill, as part of their enquiries into an unrelated matter, police said.

However once inside, police said they immediately noticed a strong smell of cannabis and on carrying out a search they found bags of the drug with an estimated potential street value of some £23,000, together with several thousand pounds in cash.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Two men aged 22 and 21, and a woman aged 21, were arrested at the flat on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply, and money laundering.

“After being interviewed they were released under investigation.”
