Three charged over Horsham car park stab attack

THREE HORSHAM men have been charged after a ‘serious assault’ on a 29-year-old man in the Pavilions Leisure Centre car park on Saturday July 23.

The victim, described by police as a local man, was attacked at 2.20am as he walked back from a nearby nightclub.

He suffered stab wounds to the body, serious head injuries from punching and kicking, and a fractured wrist.

Luke Talbot, 20, and Max Talbot, 22, both of St Christopher’s Close, Horsham, and Jason Engleby, 19, of Bostock Avenue, Horsham, were charged on Thursday October 6 with causing grevious bodily harm with intent.

The three men were arrested, two late on the evening Saturday July 23, and one the early hours of Sunday, on suspicion of causing grevious bodily harm with intent (Section 18).

They were released on police bail whilst enquiries continued and will appear at Mid-Sussex Magistrates Court on Thursday October 20.
