Police in Seaford are appealing for information following the theft of two caravans from the Buckle Caravan and Camping Park on Wednesday (February 12).

Entry was gained to the site sometime between 10.20pm and 10.50pm on Wednesday evening, by forcing the gate barrier open and removing the two caravans.

No vehicles were seen but it is thought the stolen caravans were towed away separately.

One was a white Compass Rallye 635, valued at £6,000, and the other one was a white Luna Freelander four-berth valued at £7,500.

Sergeant Stuart Mullins said; “In view of the weather conditions it would have been very unusual to have been moving a caravan and we are appealing for any potential witnesses to try and identify the vehicles used to move them.”

Anyone who saw anything suspicious, including any caravans being moved at the time of the thefts, is asked to contact police via 101 or email quoting serial 1496 0r 12/2.
