Two men arrested after woman stabbed in Hastings

Two men are in custody after a woman was stabbed in Hastings, police have confirmed.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing outside Crowley’s Bar in Havelock Road, Hastings, at about 10.15pm on Monday (October 26).

A 20-year-old woman was found with a minor laceration to her stomach and was taken to hospital, police said.

She was treated and later released, police added.

Police arrested a 28-year-old man and a 38-year-old man on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm. They remain in custody, according to police.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information should report online or ring 101 quoting serial 1412 of 26/10.

This was the second stabbing incident in the area on Monday.

At 3.15pm, a 44-year-old man was arrested after a 38-year-old man was stabbed in Grand Parade, St Leonards.
