Police are appealing for witnesses to a fight between two teenage boys in Worthing.

It then moved into Pilgrims Walk and continued at West Worthing railway station within a carriage on a Littlehampton to London Victoria train, Sussex Police confirmed.

Two boys, both aged 17 and from Worthing, were arrested on suspicion of affray and one was further arrested for possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, Sussex Police said.

Both were bailed to December 5.

A spokeswoman from Sussex Police previously confirmed neither boys were seriously hurt in the fight.

The fight made an impact to the railway and passengers on the train were alerted that there had been an incident, after being delayed for 20 minutes on the platform, a passenger said.

Police ask anyone who was in the area at the time or on the train and witnessed the fight to email [email protected] or call 101, quoting serial 0245 of 31/10.
