Van and digger buckets stolen from Crowborough


Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary at an accident repair centre in Hadlow Down Road, Crowborough.

A perimeter fence was damaged to gain access to the site some time between 5.30pm on Thursday April 9 and 7am on Friday April 10.

Buckets from three diggers were removed and taken away, probably on a white flatbed Transit van, which was also stolen during the incident.

The van was found burnt out in a country lane in Godstone, Surrey, at around midnight on the Friday.

Three lorries at the site also had windows smashed and their vehicle cameras stolen, while another lorry had £200 of diesel siphoned from it.
