Vandals leave £3,000 trail of destruction at Pulborough nursery

Vandals left a £3,000 trail of destruction when they broke into a Pulborough plant nursery.

Police say that panels were cut out of polytunnels, crops were damaged and beer cans and litter were left strewn about the nursery in London Road.

The incident - which happened some time between 6pm on Saturday and 9.30am on Sunday - is the second time in a week that damage has been caused at the premises.

Anyone with any information is asked to report it to police online or call 101 quoting serial 279 of 07/06.

In a separate break-in, machinery and climbing equipment worth £3,500 were stolen from a container on rural land north of Pulborough.

Police say the theft happened between the morning of June 5 and June 7.

Among equipment stolen were Stihl and Husqvarna chainsaws.
