A Sussex Police spokesperson said the incidents were reported as people discovered the damage on Saturday morning, but a witness reported hearing a noise at around 1.30am, and police believe this may be when the vandalism occurred.

PCSO Damian Cecil said: “Horsham police are taking all reports of damage to vehicles seriously and ask that anyone who has suffered damage to their vehicle in Southwater over the weekend reports it to us.”

Anyone with information about the incident can email [email protected] or call 101 quoting serial 373 of 01/08.

Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
