Woman attacked at Asda self service tills in St Leonards

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an attack in a St Leonards supermarket.

A woman was assaulted by another shopper.

A police spokesman said: “A woman wearing a light grey tracksuit with ‘Queen’ written on the top was in Asda with her ten-year-old daughter between 3.30pm and 4.15pm on Wednesday, June 30, when she was assaulted by another woman.”

Police said the woman was described as 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build, with brown hair in a ponytail and wearing glasses, blue jeans, a white top and a long grey jumper.
