On Thursday (May 18), staff at iStore in County Mall, Crawley, contacted police to say that a woman had used false details to try and take out a contract on a laptop worth £2,000, according to police.

Officers said that when staff started to carry out the necessary background checks they realised the details given by the woman were false and identified that she had attempted to make similar transactions on other branches of the store.
