‘Cuckfield Museum will reopen after the winter break on Feb 13th with an exhibition on shoes. We have shoes in our collection that were deliberately concealed under a cottage floor while others were found in a back yard. We have workhouse boots and the finest baby’s kid slippers. If anyone has shoes of age or interest that they would like to loan, we would be very interested to see them. Please ring Phillipa Malins on 01444 452307
