Police are looking for the driver of a silver Ford Mondeo after the crash, at about 7.40am on Friday (October 1), which left the 25-year-old cyclist with a knee injury,

A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: “The cyclist was travelling east when he entered a roundabout in Worthing Road, Rustington, near the Windmill pub.

“A car travelling south which was also on the roundabout cut across into the wrong side of the road and collided with the rear of the cyclist.”

She added that the car’s number plate was believed to have started with GF52.
