Cyclist in Yapton left with broken arm in hit-and-run

POLICE are seeking witnesses to a collision at Yapton in which a cyclist was injured and a car failed to stop.

At about 6.30am yesterday, Tuesday, January 14, the 41-year old local man was cycling along Yapton Road, Yapton, towards the A259, when he was in collision with a black car and fell off, sustaining a broken arm.

The car drove on without stopping, and police are keen to trace the driver and anyone who saw what happened.
