CROWDS gathered on Little-hampton promenade on Thurs-day as the Marie Curie Cancer Care/Yellow Pages health roadshow rolled into the town in a special daffodil bus.

CROWDS gathered on Littlehampton promenade on Thursday as the Marie Curie Cancer Care/Yellow Pages health roadshow rolled into the town in a special daffodil bus.

The roadshow, travelling along the coast to promote the adoption of healthier lifestyles, was officially launched by Littlehampton mayor Mark Butler.

The event featured members of the Natural Theatre Company dressed as daffodil flowerpot people, janitors and giant sticks of rock, plus advice from local nurses and prizes.

Those present also had the chance to have health checks and fill in health surveys.

Donations were collected throughout the day for Marie Curie Cancer Care and a grand total of 92.55 was raised.
