De La Warr Pavilion free bandstand events

THE DE LA WARR Pavilion is inviting you to pull up a deckchair, order a Pimms and soak up some free music on the bandstand this summer.

As part of the summer film & music season, the bandstand is once again the place to see some fantastic musical talent. For fact fans out there, the award-winning bandstand was the result of an appeal to replace the Pavilion's aging bandstand.

Their award-winning contemporary bandstand, was designed by architect Niall McLaughlin, along with ideas and contributions from local schoolchildren and has been a local favourite ever since its installation in 2001.
