Deadline for grant funding opportunities draws near

There is just over a week left for voluntary, community and charity groups across the district to apply for funding from the Arun Wellbeing Joint Small Grants scheme.

Paul Wotherspoon, Arun District Council’s cabinet member with responsibility for wellbeing, said: “We are keen to do what we can to support voluntary, charity and community groups in the district. The service they provide is invaluable and I am delighted we can offer these grants to help them continue their good works.

“If there are any groups in Arun in need of some funding to help with wellbeing initiatives in their community, I urge them to get in touch and see if they are eligible.”

The scheme provides grants of up to £1,000 for non-profit organisations and has an easy one stage application process.

The next deadline for submissions is June 1. To be eligible for funding, groups must demonstrate that their activities either promote or support one or more of the Arun wellbeing priorities.
