Des Lynam backs hospital card campaign

The famous presenter, who lives in the Worthing area, penned the card in mayor Tom Wye's parlour.

When asked what he had written, Des said: "The same message as everyone else '“ we have got to keep this hospital open.

"It is unimaginable to have a population the size of Worthing without a hospital.

"It is about saving lives, not money."

Des admitted he has bought 200 of the Christmas cards, which have been designed by Littlehampton artist Mike Payne for the KWASH campaign.
