Designer shoes stolen from Rye shop

THIEVES stole dozens of pairs of designer shoes from a Rye shop.

The 63 pairs of shoes valued at nearly £7,000 was stolen during a break in at Crispins in the Mint.

The burglary took place sometime between 5pm on April 17 and 8am on April 18.

An untidy search was made and 63 pairs of distinctive men’s formal shoes were stolen (pictured). The majority of the shoes have a personalised signature of ‘Crispins’ on the sole and are worth around £110 a pair.

PC Nigel Collins said: “The items stolen are fairly distinctive and we are asking for anyone who is offered or finds shoes matching this description to contact police.”
