Diamond Jubilee Garden ready for grand opening day
AFTER months of hard work, the Beautiful Battle Diamond Jubilee Garden will be officially opened on Friday June 1 at 6pm.
The High Sheriff will open the garden in the presence of local ambulance staff, firebrigade, police, Beautiful Battle members, Battle Town Council and Battle residents. The Battle Town Band will play at the event, which will include the presentation of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medals to emergency services staff.
The final touches are being put to the garden over the next two weeks.
