Lewes Late Night Shopping will have a Dickensian feel this year, with a Christmas Fair and Harveys heavy horses delivering wreaths around the town.
It will take place on Thursday December 4.
The High Street will be closed from 5.30pm to 8.30pm and there will be entertainment throughout the town centre.
There will be activities for children and stalls at the Town Hall Christmas Fair, as well as a Christmas Cafe with local produce.
It will raise money for Lewes Food Banks and St Peter and St James Hospice, with a street collection on the evening.
Santa’s Grotto will be in Lewes House again this year with presents for children and mulled wine for parents.
There will also be a competition trail to complete for children and parents. It will appear in the late night shopping programme which comes out in mid November.
Festive treats will be in the front yard of Harveys with carol singing.
