Dinner dance raises hundreds for charity

FUNERAL directors from across Sussex attended a dinner dance in Worthing last Saturday and raised hundreds of pounds for charity.

The evening raised £570 for this year’s president’s charity, Winston’s Wish, who look after bereaved children.

Tony Hauck, Sussex County Association of Funeral Directors secretary, said: “A great night was had by all. Great food from Indigo Restaurant and a great disco and fun casino.”

The annual event, organised by the Sussex County Association of Funeral Directors, took place at The Ardington Hotel, in Steyne Gardens, was attended by mayor of Worthing Bob Smytherman.
