Disability access audit service to help property owners
Sussex Building Control is pleased to announce the launch of its new service giving property owners help and advice on how to make buildings more accessible for disabled users.
The ‘Access Audit’ service will be provided alongside the regular building control service to a range of properties in the Horsham district including schools, surgeries, businesses and nursing homes.
Claire Vickers Horsham District Council cabinet member for living and working communities, said: “It is great to see Sussex Building Control introducing yet another service to its portfolio, especially one that will help local businesses make their shops, restaurants and other facilities more accessible for local residents.”
