Disturbed OAP killed wife then committed suicide
AN elderly man bludgeoned his wife to death then killed himself after suffering delusions brought on by physical ailments, an inquest was told on Monday.
Reginald Paisley (84)and 78-year-old Drusilla Paisley were discovered by their son at their home at Leylands Drive, Burgess Hill on May 18.
Mrs Paisley had been hit over the head with a spade and stabbed in the neck, while her husband was found hanging on the first- floor landing.
An inquest at Haywards Heath Town Hall was told the couple had experienced a 'volatile' relationship during their 54-year-marriage.
