Ditchling jeweller marking ten years of business

Local jewellery designer Natasha Caughey of Auricula is celebrating 10 years in business making jewellery from her Ditchling studio with champagne and special offers for customers on Saturday, April 30.

Founded in 2006 by Natasha Caughey, Auricula is a treasure trove of unique and elegant jewellery. Natasha, who used to work as a jewellery buyer and designer in central London, returned to Sussex to set up her own jewellery company and found the perfect home in Ditchling’s Turner Dumbrell workshops.

Now an established part of this buzzing, creative community, Auricula is celebrating the past 10 years and looking forward to continued success.

Natasha is offering customers a glass of fizz, a goody bag and 10 per cent off all purchases at her workshop on April 30.

Natasha said: “I have always loved jewellery – both wearing it, collecting it and making it. I see it as a way to express yourself, to have fun and pull together an outfit.

“Since setting up Auricula in the pretty village of Ditchling has been an exciting journey building up the business and seeing it grow, meeting customers and going on buying trips to India and China.”

Auricula’s jewellery is inspired by the colour, texture and form of the gemstones and freshwater pearls Natasha hand-selects on buying trips around the world.

The designs are simple but bold, working with the feel of the stones to create jewellery from statement pieces to delicate items.
