Dog of the week '“ Foxy

Quick, brown Foxy is far from a lazy dog.

The 22-month-old Alsatian cross is inquisitive and loves long walks where new sights and smells can be investigated.

Tracey Rae, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Shoreham, said: “Friendly Foxy has a lot of love to give and is hoping to find a forever friend who can always be right by his side.

“He’d need to be the only pet at home as this way he can feel comfortable, while enjoying all of the attention from his human pals.

“This intelligent boy has a great eagerness to learn new things and very much enjoys a challenge. “

The new owners will have a car so they can drive Foxy to quieter walking areas, away from other dogs. They would need to carry on fun training while slowly continuing socialisation around other dogs.

The perfect home would be one where residents and visitors are aged 14 plus and it is essential that there is a garden.
