Dog rescued in Rye by firefighters

Firefighters rescued a dog from a property in Rye in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday, November 18).
Firefighters were called at 12.20amFirefighters were called at 12.20am

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to a domestic animal rescue on Tower Street at around 12.20am.

One appliance from Rye was mobilised to the scene where, on arrival, crews released the dog.

Fire crews left the scene at 12:40am.
