Domestic crime tops the figures

Fifteen crimes in Pagham and Rose Green were reported to the police in December, parish councillors were told.

The area's new police community support officer, Bill Prior, told councillors about half of the offences were instances of domestic violence, which were included in the parish's eight cases of violence against a person.

There were also two house burglaries, two cases of criminal damage, two stolen car cases and one drug offence which involved cannabis.
