Don't become distracted: police
PEOPLE are being warned to beware of a suspicious man who may be using distraction techniques to check out or steal from properties in Bexhill. Last week the suspect, pretending to be out of breath, knocked on a De La Warr Road front door and asked for a drink of water.
He left after the occupant became concerned that he was asking questions about the property. He is described as 5ft 8ins tall, with closely cropped hair into which a spiral pattern has been cut.
Anyone suspicious of callers should not let them in but alert police by calling 0845 60 70 999.
