Door and window smashed in series of village break-ins

A door and a window were smashed after a series of village shops were broken into.

Browns Barbers in High Street, Henfield, was broken into overnight between December 27 and December 28, 2015.

Police said intruders gained access to the building by smashing open the front door of the shop.

A small quantity of loose change was stolen.

On the same evening a pet supply store in Coopers Way was also broken into.

A window was smashed and money was taken from the till.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Police are looking at them as possibly linked due to the location and time.”

Anyone who saw anything suspicious is being asked to contact police on [email protected] quoting serial 253 of 28/12.
