ADUR Green Party will be clearing up litter on the Downs Link in Shoreham on Sunday.

A working party is meeting at the Red Lion pub, in Old Shoreham Road, at 2pm, then litter picking along the path in both directions.

Spokesman Jennie Tindall said: “The distance depends on number of volunteers and our stamina!

“After meeting and a short safety briefing, we will split up into teams and walk away from the Red Lion along the Downs Link, then turn back and pick litter on the return walk, finishing back at the Red Lion, where the council will collect the rubbish bags, followed by a well-earned pint from 4pm.”
