The lineup of bands for the event, on June 11 and 12, has been put together with the intention of giving as many young people as possible the chance to play and will see 90 musicians playing on the Allstars’ own DAF truck (named MELFI) which has been converted into a mobile stage.

Included in the lineup are newer bands such as Sugar Crackalama and The B!g Bang alongside bands such as Sweetmates and My Pet Shark which contain members who played at the first ever Allstars gig in 2008 and grew up within the collective.

Over the weekend, the Sussex-based collective of young musicians will be debuting ‘The Wildlife Set’, a set of songs tailor-made for a dance music loving audience. This setlist will feature a mix of songs by acts playing at Wildlife alongside other dance acts. This set will include songs by artists such as Rudimental, Ratboy, Years & Years, Sigma, Ganja Kru, James Bay and Bastille.

A spokesman for the group said: “Their involvement in Wild Life 2015 was a huge milestone in the development of the Shoreham Allstars. It made a huge impact in the lives of all the young musicians involved and has inspired more children in the community to get involved in music.”

Theo, a 10-year-old bassist from Allstars band Sour Mash, said: “When you’re ten you don’t think you’re going to ever play at a festival but with the Allstars we get to do gigs all the time and now we’re playing at Wildlife and it’s pretty cool!”
