Drink-drive charge for woman with child in car
A Sedlescombe woman, who was stopped by police on suspicion of drink-driving, had a six-year-old girl in the car with her, police have said.
Rebecca Roper, 54, of Eastview Terrace, was stopped shortly after 10pm on Tuesday following a report from a member of the public.
She had been driving from John Macadam Way in Hastings when police stopped her in Park Shaw, Sedlescombe.
The 54-year-old, who also had another female passenger in the car along with the child, has been charged with drink driving.
She is due to appear at Hastings Magistrates' Court on July 8.
