Drinker caught short spent day in the cells

A STREET drinker seen relieving himself in a bus stop spent a day in custody after breaching his anti social behaviour order.

Peter Eagle (pictured right), 46, of London Road, St Leonards, was spotted by officers near his house last Tuesday evening.

Eagle was urinating in full view of passers-by and police arrested him for being drunk and disorderly. He was charged with that offence and for breaching the Asbo imposed in July 2008.

He appeared at Hastings Magistrates Court last Thursday when he admitted both offences.

He was fined £50 but this was waived as he had spent 24 hours in the cells.
