Drive It day with classic cars

ROTHER Neighbourhood Watch will be promoted when the Bexhill Classic Car Association holds its annual Drive It Day on Sunday, April 17. Classic cars will arrive at the Clock Tower on West Parade, Bexhill, at 10am ready to move off an hour later.

They will journey to Salts Farm, a mile east of Rye, for tea and cakes, with the chance to stop off in Rye itself on the way back for lunch. The BCCA would welcome any classic or vintage cars or motor cycles to join up on the day for an enjoyable run with a friendly group of enthusiasts.

Spokesman Keith Robinson said: “The purpose of Drive It Day is to be seen in our classic cars so we felt why not promote excellent causes whilst doing so?
