Driver jailed for causing three deaths

A drunk driver who caused the deaths of three people in a 'horrific accident' just before Christmas has been jailed for six years.

Sharon Hewer (38) odeom Worthing, William Hancock (37) from Billingshurst and Ivor Bingham (39) from Dorset were all killed in the crash near the Coach and Horses pub on the A27.

At Chicxhester Crown Court last week, Luke Quinell (24) from Portsmouth pleaded guilty to causing death by driving without due care while under the influence of alcohol.
